Metal and Miscellaneous Trash and Junk
Items for pick-up must be placed at the curb or road edge no later than the Sunday evening prior to the scheduled collection dates.
- Keep metal items separate from trash & junk
- No brush, leaves or lawn refuse
- No refrigerators, freezers, air conditioner, or any other appliance containing freon
- Engines must be drained of gasoline & oil
- No propane tanks
- No computer screens
- No televisions
- No hazardous wastes
- No tires
- No paints or solvents
- No recyclable materials
NOTE #1: – Brush, leaves and lawn refuse may be disposed of at the prepared site on Packard Avenue, across from the DPW Garage.
NOTE #2: – Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, etc., may be disposed of at the South County Transfer Station for a fee. (665-6894)
NOTE #3: – Propane tanks may also be disposed of at the South County Transfer Station for a fee. (Call 665-6894 for information.)
